ERC specializes in the operations and maintenance of advanced test, manufacturing, and simulation facilities for a variety of DOD and NASA customers. At NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, ERC personnel provide virtually all required services to both operate and maintain the Center’s propulsion test cells. We provide the same O&M support at NASA’s White Sands Test Facility (WSTF) for their propulsion test cells, as well as playing a small role in supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory’s propulsion test cells at their Edwards AFB test facilities.
ERC provides O&M support for materials testing activities at NASA’s WSTF and MSFC. Our O&M support includes test system safety, quality assurance, technical training, precision cleaning and fluid component refurbishment, calibration, machining and welding, maintenance of special personal protective equipment, photo and video, electronic and audio-visual equipment maintenance, and technical editing.
ERC provides O&M support to RDECOM’s Weapons Development and Integration Directorate. Our O&M support includes solid, liquid and gel propellant formulation, processing and testing and equipment maintenance; electrical, structural, engineering and ballistic tests, analysis and hardware integration; and performance of service life testing and analysis.
