It’s no secret that ERC has many wonderful employees – but did you know how many wonderful YOUNG professionals we have that are doing great things in the community? Keep on reading to see just what some of our Huntsville YPs are doing!

Megan Beattie, ESSSA

Megan is a Systems Engineer at NASA on the ESSSA contract.  Megan was recently named “Tomorrow’s Young Woman of Distinction” for her tremendous volunteer efforts in our community. She has served as a volunteer and committee member for the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), as a volunteer staff member and Planning Committee Chair for the National Space Society, on the Leadership Development Team for the National Girls Collaborative Project and on the Board of Directors for the Von Braun Astronomical Society. In 2013, AIAA named Megan as Greater Huntsville’s Young Professional of the Year.

Ryan Noe, formerly a Flight Test Engineer on the ETSS contract,    joined the Business Development Team in 2015 as a Technical Specialist.  Since coming to HQ, Ryan has taken over the annual fishing tournament and has been getting involved in our community. He’s working on becoming a Big Brother with Big Brother Big Sisters of North Alabama and volunteers his time with trash removal on our rivers. And just last week, Ryan worked at a Career Fair at a local middle school – and was a big hit with the kids! He talked with them about engineering, then showed them how engineering can be used to make the best paper airplane…how fun! Check out this story on the event (and you’ll see Ryan in action around the :30 mark!):
