Kathy Carter, the official ERC Halloween Party Queen, worked feverishly to transform Headquarters into a ghoulish and creepy space this year. From the moment brave visitors entered the building, they were greeted with a huge hanging zombie, monster spiders and webs and ghosts…oh my! Anyone that dared to enter the elevator was stalked by a bloody, dark zombie looming overhead…only to find themselves in the hallows of Creepy Corporate ERC!
The timing of the most recent Purpose Driven Leadership (PDL) was perfect as the class came to a frightening…yet fun…Halloween Spooktacular! The end of PDL class signaled the start of the celebration with a Halloween Costume Contest & Parade and a little friendly competition for the Freakiest Dish. Our humble leader and Halloween Warrior Ernie, took home the prize for the freakiest dish: a Tofu Fish Flake wonder surrounded by REAL dried cicadas! There were a few brave souls that dared to try this freaky dish…yet somehow, there was plenty leftover! Top Costume prizes went to “Angel” Cathy Stanford and an unusually quiet “Mime” Stacy Riley!
We had so many spooky dishes and food from our generous staff that we had enough left-overs to share with our local Ambulance/Emergency Response team. Halloween night in Huntsville was rainy and cold, so the Response Team was delighted to have some good eats to keep them strong throughout the night.
Enjoy the photos of the Halloween Spooktacular!
