On Saturday, July 26, a team of volunteers from ERC STRAD joined together to build a playhouse for Habitat for Humanity. The playhouse is for a 6-year-old girl named Karla, who suffers from Spina Bifida. “Princess Karla’s Playhouse” is a specially designed wheelchair-accessible house, built just for this sweet little girl – just in time for her 6th birthday! The windows and door knobs are the perfect height for Karla, and she has plenty of room to enjoy.
Thank you to the amazing team of volunteers who made Karla’s dream a reality…and to ERC for supporting this effort with its generous charitable donation. Thanks to Erika Rodriguez for spearheading this effort, and the support from Chris Dateo, Mary Dateo, Jay Hyatt, David Thorpe, Tane Boghozian and her two daughters, Justin Haskins, Jerry Ridge, Hay Feldman, and Jeff Brown. Below are some pictures from the build!
